Role Summary

Aubay is seeking a Product Owner (PO) with Genesys implementation experience to join our client’s team in the Financial Services sector and lead key product journeys and initiatives. As the PO, you will be defining the product vision, roadmap, and managing the development process in an Agile Squad. You will understand customer needs, actively support the squad, refine backlog items, and optimize product value. The PO should also lead the development team in achieving the organisation's vision. The role involves significant internal and external stakeholder management, including proposal presentations at all organisational levels. Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience with Genesys Cloud implementation
  • Practical understanding of product development frameworks and architecture
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional Agile teams
  • Experience defining product vision and roadmap
  • Experience managing and refining backlog items
  • Clear and effective communication, ability to clearly articulate and justify decisions
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and delivery-focused mindset
  • Effective governance and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of business area to which the squad primarily supports. Currently: Contact Management, Genesys Cloud, Call Centres, Operations (Front and Back Office), Omni-channel communications

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Share and promote Agile values and principles and lead the development process
  • Strategize and provide the product vision, roadmap, and backlog to the Squad and all stakeholders
  • Develop, refine, and prioritize epics, backlog items and support the Squad with task definition
  • Define and manage the products budget and spend based upon value prioritization
  • Act as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders
  • Assist the Squad/product development team to define and meet the objectives of each sprint
  • Own User Acceptance Testing; adjust and improve each iteration of the product before release
  • Identify areas of improvement on the product or any other supporting processes
  • Keep customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product
  • Analyse product outcomes based on customer feedback and business metrics (OKRs, KPIs, etc.)
  • Develop business cases and support PMO governance where required
  • Ensure that all changes comply with Legal, Regulatory, and Conduct requirements
