Role Summary

Aubay is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage our European Power nominations capabilities. This critical role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in delivering custom-built software solutions and applications hosted in cloud environments.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Successful track experience delivering IT projects, managing teams of up to 20 people, and handling budgets up to $10M. 
  • Strong experience in managing agile projects, with a preference for candidates who have worked closely with product owners/managers. 
  • Ability to apply and tailor best practice project management techniques to balance delivery assurance with timeline demands. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage difficult stakeholders and influence outcomes effectively. 

 Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous Experience in physical energy trading, general trading (or banking/finance), or other energy-related domains. 
  • Practical knowledge of Power Nominations is highly desirable.

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and compliance controls of IT tools supporting physical power nominations across European markets
  • Manage dynamic and fast-paced project environments, adapting quickly to market changes. 
  • Engage effectively with senior business and IT stakeholders within a complex matrix structure, including IT Operations, Security, Compliance, Portfolio & Delivery Management, and Architecture.
