Role Summary
Aubay is seeking a passionate Project Manager with expertise in Freight management E2E processes, including the implementation of ETRM Endur and Veson systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in integrating multiple systems, Agile project management, and stakeholder engagement. You will lead complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficient delivery of business value in a global environment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Trading & Supply business, particularly in Freight management end-to-end (E2E) processes.
- Proven experience with the implementation of the ETRM Endur system.
- Proven experience with the implementation of the freight management system Veson.
- Experience with E2E integration of multiple systems, including testing and cutover.
- Agile project management experience and understanding of Agile frameworks.
- Experience leading Agile projects and managing related tools (e.g., VSTS).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or Prince 2 Practitioner).
- Familiarity with metrics and KPIs related to business performance (e.g., ROI, stakeholder value).
- Ability to quickly earn the trust of stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and deliver challenging messages effectively.
- Experience managing projects and leading teams in a diverse, global organisation, often working virtually.
- Ability to manage multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
- Ability to balance execution efficiency with risk mitigation, value delivery, and quality.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle.
- Ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Create and validate financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.
- Proactively analyse risks and variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments. Identify signs that a project may be at risk and escalate quickly and appropriately.
- Ensure appropriate stakeholder change and communication plans and engagements are developed and executed.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define success metrics and criteria and to identify, measure, and track planned vs. achieved benefits.
- Apply set project management and IT control/assurance methodologies, standards, and processes, including architecture information risk management and transition to support.
- Create a motivated, high-performing team through team building, information sharing, workload management, and appropriate recognition. Develop the skills of team members through coaching and delegation.
- Establish and maintain appropriate and effective Governance structures and procedures
- Quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders. Resolve conflict and deliver tough messages with grace.
- Execute and drive decisions despite limited information.
- Motivate and advocate for the team while removing barriers so that the team can complete its objectives while managing pressure.
- Work virtually in a global organisation with major outsourced suppliers of infrastructure and application services.
- Understand and apply the terminology, metrics, and calculations relevant to business-specific measures and KPIs.
