Role Summary

Aubay UK is seeking an experienced Office 365/SharePoint Developer to join a high-profile project with an international energy company. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites and applications to support key business functions, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal performance across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated developer with a strong technical skillset in Office 365, SharePoint, and Power Platform solutions. The position involves substantial travel to Doha, Qatar, requiring approximately 75% travel (up to 30 days at a time). Further details about the travel requirements will be provided during the interview process.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering Office 365/SharePoint Online solutions. 
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint development, architecture, and best practices, including workflows, lists, and configuration. 
  • Hands-on expertise with PowerApps, PowerApps Portals, and Power Automate, including UI design best practices, cloud integration, and security implementation. 
  • Experience with SQL Server and SharePoint Online List as data sources, including version maintenance and recovery processes. 
  • Proficiency with Power BI for data analysis and visualisation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of Office 365/SharePoint projects and operations. 
  • Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience within the energy sector, particularly LNG, is highly desirable. 
  • Familiarity with international projects and working in a culturally diverse environment. 
  • Experience in travelling and working abroad for extended periods of time. 

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites and applications, including workflows and custom solutions. 
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to support business requirements. 
  • Develop and manage PowerApps Portals with a focus on UI design best practices, cloud sources, and implementing security measures. 
  • Create and maintain workflows, lists, and configurations within SharePoint Online. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into effective solutions. 
  • Manage SQL Server and SharePoint Online List as data sources, including version control and recovery in PowerApps. 
  • Ensure solutions adhere to best practices for performance, scalability, and security. 
  • Provide support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for SharePoint and Office 365 platforms. 
  • Deliver high-quality documentation for solutions and operational processes.
