Role Summary
Aubay is seeking a Senior Process Analyst to support transformational change and operational efficiency within a leading energy trading organisation. This role is key to shaping the Target Operating Model (TOM), driving continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth adoption of process enhancements across the trade lifecycle. The position involves substantial travel to Doha, Qatar. Further details about the travel requirements will be provided during the interview process.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in process analysis, transformation, and change management within energy trading or financial services.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic transformation initiatives, aligning them with long-term organisational goals.
- Expertise in stakeholder management, ensuring alignment of priorities and effective project execution.
- Experience in risk identification and mitigation, particularly in high-risk operational areas.
- Knowledge of market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and trading processes, enabling informed decision-making.
- Familiarity with industry best practices in process design, benchmarking, and automation.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery models and frameworks for operational transformation.
- Experience in defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure transformation success.
- Ability to support governance and budget reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and refining the strategic vision for transformation, ensuring alignment with long-term organisational goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear transformation priorities and effective project execution.
- Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of process improvements in line with the Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and retrospectives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Identify and manage high-risk areas or critical dependencies, devising risk mitigation strategies and ensuring their adoption.
- Analyse and refine operational processes, incorporating industry best practices and benchmarking to optimise performance.
- Define Minimum Viable Product (MVP) criteria for process changes, balancing standardisation with bespoke requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support the development of an agile delivery organisation, fostering talent and building capabilities.
- Define, refine, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track transformation success and operational improvements.
- Support governance and budget reporting, ensuring transparency, accountability, and clear demonstration of value contributions.
