Role Summary
Aubay UK are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer with a passion for developing high-quality backend applications, to join our client's dynamic team and help them take projects to the next level. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and delivering innovative and scalable backend applications that meet our client's design and requirements. You will work alongside a talented UI team to create seamless user experiences and ensure that the software meets regulatory compliance standards. You will also take an active role in cross-functional teams and play an essential part in delivering solutions to live environments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, excellent communication skills, and a flexible and adaptable mindset. You should also value teamwork and be committed to personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
Required Skills and Experience
- Expert knowledge of Java Server Side development, including Java17 and a deep understanding of Java
- Practical experience with Java Lean, JDBC, SQL, JMS, JUnit, Gradle
- Strong understanding of restful services and microservice architecture
- Experience with writing unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with design patterns and SOLID principles
- Awareness of all aspects of the development lifecycle, including agile and Continuous Delivery principles
- Proficiency in working with Microservices
- Understanding of Blockchain or a deep interest in the technology
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Blockchain technology
