Role Summary
Aubay UK is seeking an experienced Salesforce Service Owner to oversee and optimise the Salesforce platform, ensuring it supports business objectives and drives continuous improvement across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year roadmap for Salesforce adoption, management, and expansion, while leading the strategy, delivery, and integration of Salesforce services across departments. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, integration with enterprise systems, and a strong background in agile project management. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving adoption, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring governance and compliance across the platform.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related modules.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role, managing cross-functional or globally distributed teams.
- Expertise in Salesforce development tools, integrations, and best practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior executives and business stakeholders.
- Proven experience with agile methodologies, particularly in managing service backlogs and prioritising deliverables.
- Ability to manage complex vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring optimal cost management and service delivery.
- Strong experience with Salesforce integrations, data governance, and security practices.
- Experience in driving change management and user adoption strategies for enterprise software solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Knowledge of ITIL Framework and processes.
- Master’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience working in a multinational organisation or diverse work environment.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for Salesforce adoption, optimisation, and expansion within the company, aligning it with business goals and digital transformation objectives.
- Prioritise and manage the Salesforce service backlog, collaborating with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translating them into actionable user stories.
- Lead the agile delivery squad for Salesforce, ensuring the on-time, on-budget delivery of enhancements and projects.
- Oversee vendor and contract management, including licensing, third-party integrations, and ensuring cost optimisation, service levels, and platform performance.
- Design and implement change management strategies to drive Salesforce adoption and reduce reliance on IT support across business units.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies, data privacy regulations, and industry standards for the Salesforce platform.
- Manage the Multi-Year Budget (MYB) for Salesforce, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals and objectives.
- Oversee technical architecture, governance, and best practices for Salesforce, ensuring effective integration with other enterprise systems to maintain data integrity.
- Lead the resolution of complex incidents and issues within the Salesforce platform, fostering continuous improvement initiatives based on user feedback and performance analytics.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, including Operations, Product Management, and IT, as well as external vendors and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about Salesforce updates, innovations, and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement in platform capabilities and service delivery.
