  • Trade Finance / Letter of Credit (LC) knowledge.
  • Experience in month-end closing from a settlements perspective.
  • Experience working with CTRMs, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Excel capability, with VBA and macro-building skills considered an advantage to automate manual processes.
  • Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent team working and networking skills.
  • Self-starter, able to take ownership and deliver tasks to tight timelines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, positive, and proactive.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Invoice creation, distribution, reconciliation, checkout, and settlement of physical LNG and freight trades from CTRM systems and SAP.
  • Review contracts and service agreements for settlement purposes, including recording and validating payment due dates.
  • Perform price confirmation with counterparties and apply netting where applicable.
  • Billing and invoicing of sales, including provisional and final invoices where applicable.

  • Ensure timely collection and payment of cash, including aging analysis and reporting.
  • Process secondary costs including freight, insurance, inspections, demurrage, and port costs.
  • Supply weekly cash forecasting to Treasury detailing purchases and sales to support cash flow provisioning.
  • Liaise proactively with traders and operators to resolve disputes, clear overdue AR/AP items, and address unallocated cash.
  • Support alignment across the entity through a clear understanding of key business drivers and the impact of each function on those drivers.
  • Conduct month-end reconciliation of CTRM versus SAP, working with reporting teams to resolve issues proactively and on time.
  • Ensure settlement procedures are reviewed and kept up to date.
  • Contribute to process improvement and digitalisation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual activities.
