Role Summary

Aubay UK is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a Products Data Exchange programme within a global energy organisation’s Trading & Supply function. This contract role will play a key role in enabling Agile delivery across cross-functional teams responsible for cloud-based data platforms, data migration initiatives, and data modernisation programmes. The successful candidate will embody an Agile mindset and coaching approach, helping teams continuously improve their ways of working while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, UX teams, Project Managers and business stakeholders, you will facilitate Agile delivery, improve team performance, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment between strategy and execution.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting Agile product and technology teams
  • Strong expertise in Lean-Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, and Agile coaching practices
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, workshops, and retrospectives
  • Ability to coach teams undergoing Agile transformation and maturity improvements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, UX, Project Management)
  • Strong understanding of Agile metrics and team performance measurements
  • Experience identifying and removing impediments, risks, and dependencies across teams
  • Knowledge of the full software delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD and DevOps
  • Experience producing Agile reporting and Jira-based tracking
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Ability to foster psychologically safe and collaborative environments
  • Experience working within scaled Agile or Team of Teams environments

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Domain knowledge of data ingestion and migration programmes
  • Experience with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms
  • Experience in enterprise data or cloud modernisation initiatives
  • Experience facilitating value stream mapping and story mapping
  • Familiarity with large-scale Agile frameworks
  • Strong understanding of organisational change and Agile transformation
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and influencing skills
  • Experience within Energy Trading, Commodities, or Enterprise Data environments
  • Relevant certifications such as CSM or PSM

  • Conduct Agile maturity assessments and improvement initiatives
  • Align delivery execution with strategic objectives
