Role Summary
Aubay UK is seeking a delivery-focused Project Manager contractor with strong operational and service management experience to lead DEX Sustainability through implementation, operational readiness, stabilisation and transition into business-as-usual support. This is a 6-month contract role focused on delivering sustainable operational outcomes, reducing risk, improving service stability and driving value realisation across digital workplace and technology services.
Required Skills and Experience
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent certification.
- Strong Agile and Waterfall delivery experience.
- Proven delivery of technology projects into production.
- Operational readiness and service transition experience.
- Cloud, SaaS and digital platform experience.
- Governance, assurance and vendor management experience.
- Planning, budgeting, dependency and risk management.
- Executive stakeholder management and financial forecasting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in digital, data and technology delivery.
- Strong infrastructure knowledge including resilience, environments, release management and change control.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of IT experience, including leadership of complex projects up to $5M.
- Sustainability, data, reporting or regulatory programme experience.
- Global and cross-functional delivery experience.
- Strong influencing, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Outcome-focused and comfortable working in ambiguity.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the project from design into delivery, implementation and value realisation.
- Drive operational readiness, service transition, deployment and support handover.
- Define and manage non-functional requirements and measurable operational outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams through delivery, testing, deployment and transition to BAU support.
- Manage service performance, stability, incidents, risk reduction and operational expenditure considerations.
- Identify delivery risks, root causes, process inefficiencies and systemic issues.
- Ensure effective governance, dependency management and delivery assurance.
- Communicate technical and operational matters clearly to senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Support release management, change control and operational resilience initiatives.
- Track project progress, governance activities and delivery outcomes.
